WELCOME TO MY PASSION! I have had a camera in my hands for over 50 years. It has been both a hobby and my profession. Shooting B&W film and watching the print developing in the darkroom just absolutely mesmerized me in the 70s – and it still does! Ansel Adam's Zone System and working on my High School and Local Newspaper learning photojournalism practically consumed my life in the early 80s. I started out as a Custom Black & White Printer, then Wedding & Portrait Photographer for a local studio/lab, before jumping full time into managing One Hour Photo Labs.
I got into computers in the 90s and built over 100 websites and managed marketing campaigns focusing on branding and image for dozens of clients over the next two decades. By 2005, I was the Art Director of a Lifestyle Magazine producing over 50 editions including designing over 1000 print ads. I have 30 years in the Graphic Design Industry which gives me a unique perspective into the usage of photographs. Hi–I'm Jon, I'll be your photographer...LET'S GET STARTED! |
