ABOUT JON

WELCOME  TO  MY  PASSION! I have had a camera in my hands for over 50 years. It has been both a hobby and my profession.  Shooting B&W film and watching the print developing in the darkroom just absolutely mesmerized me in the 70s – and it still does! Ansel Adam's Zone System and working on my High School and Local Newspaper learning photojournalism practically consumed my life in the early 80s. I started out as a Custom Black & White Printer, then Wedding & Portrait Photographer for a local studio/lab, before jumping full time into managing One Hour Photo Labs.  

I got into computers in the 90s and built over 100 websites and managed marketing campaigns for dozens of clients over the next two decades. By 2005, I was the Art Director of a Lifestyle Magazine producing over 50 editions including designing over 1000 print ads. I have 30 years in the Graphic Design Industry which gives me a unique perspective into the usage of photographs.
